Lorraine is a lecturer in Nutritional Medicine on undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses at Thames Valley University, where she works as part of a team of nutrition researchers and practitioners. She also works with businesses such as The Energy Project and Ovation XL to help improve employee wellbeing and productivity, through the use of nutrition.
At The Greenwich Natural Health Centre, she works with a broad range of clients and uses a science-based approach to identify and treat the underlying causes of a health condition, rather than simply addressing the symptoms. In this way, she aims to improve the overall health of the individual. For those clients who want to go one step further, Lorraine is also licensed to arrange tests that indicate your genetic risk of developing specific diseases.
Lorraine is a member of The British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy. She is in the final stages of completing an MSc degree in Nutrition in Chronic Disease and is also currently writing a nutrition book, due for publication early in 2009.
