404, Mystery, SXSW and puppies!

Random to say the least, but I found myself reading all of it just in case I missed something. Lots to mull over in Kathy Sierra’s post. It includes a personal view from Josh Clark about the importance of mystery (which has a wonderful quote by Robert Rauschenberg that I now have printed out next to my computer screen).

There’s a critical look at 404 error pages (I can see myself coming back to this one).

Also, a brief clip of Kathy at SXSW presenting on the best way to approach the user help button (what she calls the “WTF!” button).

All interesting stuff
